Newly refurbished for October 2011, Walnut Tree Cottage is a spacious family holiday home sleeping 5 people plus cot. Spread out over one level it offers large living accommodation with views over our ancient Walnut Tree (hence the name), paddock and chickens.
Entering the cottage through patio doors directly into an enormous and light lounge with oak flooring and comfortable leather suite, quality dark wood furniture, feature fireplace and freeview television and DVD.
The oak floored theme continues through the property leading to a huge double bedroom with family sized en-suite bathroom with bath, toilet, sink and separate shower cubicle. The bedroom benefits from fully fitted wardrobes and carpeting.
There are a further two sizeable bedrooms, both carpeted - one of which has a large fitted wardrobe, beautifully finished in light colours and matching Sanderson fabrics.
There is a smaller but separate dining area leading to a fully fitted oak style kitchen with tiled flooring and a separate utility room with washing machine and full sized family freezer. The kitchen is fitted with all the mod cons expected including, microwave and dishwasher.
There is a further shower room and toilet room - this is additional to the family en-suite bathroom.
Walnut Tree Cottage looks directly onto our paddock, it has a long shared gravel garden and is just a few paces away from our outdoor swimming pool (open April to September). Please note the Swimming pool is completely enclosed.
Walnut Tree Cottage is a substantially sized cottage. It is particularly suitable for the less able or small children as it is set out over one level and has no stairs. Wheelchair users please note there is no ramp access at present to enter the cottage. It has the added benefit of a linked cottage (Shepherds Rest) which may be available at certain times of the year and will sleep 2 more persons - availability is limited - please enquire.
